| Wisdom teeth come out tomorrow!
Hopefully all will go well. If not, well... it's been real. :) eta: They are out! Yuck and ouch, but I am alive. |

| I didn't want to embarrass my dad too much by leaving him as the #1 entry for months on end... so here we go. Not much is going on here. Work is a little busy, but the same as always. Christmas was a little complicated, but good. I have a new little sister through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and she seems pretty cool. We went out on Sunday and froze our hands and faces, but still had a good time. The basement is being worked on as we speak (as I type) by the ever-resourceful and seemingly ever-present Vladimir. I wish it would just be DONE already. Anybody out there? How are you doing? |

| Pat Metheny was pretty friggin' amazing...
...but seeing my dad was even better.
We hung out, ate salmon, saw some excellent guitar playing, and admired the lamps and legs at Lynn's Paradise Cafe. So nice to see a Dad in Kentucky. Got my car looked at today... turns out the oil problem I'd been complaining about last time I went in (oh, these cars go 10k miles between oil changes, sometimes they just burn oil!) was real. Leaky valve. So I get to take it in again to fix the oil and the A/C. In case you were wondering, Audis are not known for their reliability. The snake won't eat. He is afraid of a dead rat. A cat would never be that stupid (except for one cat I can think of, who might want to be friends with a mouse). |

| Is coming to see me tomorrow! I was quite happy to set back the clock today, but somehow the day seems to have gone on for-e-v-e-r. Maybe it's because I cleaned my room. I also got the Utah pictures into an album for my dad. Some good memories there. Not too much else is going on here. Wish I could get some KITTIES. |
